30 Day Blog Challenge

So in attempts to keep up the blog, I am now part of the 30 Day Blog Challenge hosted by Sarah of "Falling for Baby".  If you love following other people's adventures as I do, definitely check hers out.  She shares her amazing journey with her husband and their beautiful daughter Lillian who faces the challenges of living with Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS).

So the deal is to post at least 5 posts a week for 30 days.  Considering it last took me 5 months to write one post, this will be quite the challenge!  But I am looking forward to it.

::Cough Cough:: Man this thing was dusty!

Well hello there blog!  It's been WAY too long.  As you can see I have done a little redesigning.  It is still a work in progress though.  So I have a lot of updating to do!  Our little "newborn" is now 5 months old!  The time is just flying by.  I will say it has taken about 3 of those months to finally settle into a bit of a routine and feel a little more human.  Those first few months are killer.  But the fog has lifted and we are starting to enjoy our time as parents these days.  In the next few days (well, probably starting Monday since the weekends are usually busy spending time with my hubby and Emily) I plan to post a few updates with photos on the life of Emily.  I'd like to really stay up to date with this blog, not only for fun, but so I can have a record of the memories of our lives as a young family and to keep our extended family updated as well!  Hope I didn't lose all the interest of my trusty followers, sorry to keep you hanging!

Temporary Fix

New layout for now :) Still haven't gotten my stuff together to make something myself. I just had to get rid of those darn snow flakes though!!

Time for a makeover?

So it's officially spring....I think it's time to knock these snowflakes outta here! We will see what we can throw together!

New Layout

Sheesh! After much tampering with confusing code, I finally got my own background and header for my blog. Nothing fancy, but I just wanted to be able to have the control to change it myself! Now I can make my own backgrounds and perhaps "theme" the blog per season. This seems to have a wintery-turning-to-spring-soon kind of feel....maybe?
